Gentle Art - The May Schnibble

I finished my Gentle Art Schnibble top in May and blogged about it here, and this past weekend, instead of getting started on the quilting of Dylan's Quilt, like I should have done, I decided to finish Gentle Art and not let it languish in my pile of tops forever.

I forgot to take close-up pictures to really show the quilting, but trust me, it's really nice! :-) I went with paisleys in the lighter areas and stitched in the ditch around each block.

To finish it off, I chose a red print for the binding. It measures 24 inches square - perfect as a table topper or a wall hanging.

Now I'm off to pick the fabric for this month's Schnibble - Dulcinea. I'm way behind schedule on this one!

Linking up at AmandaJean's for Finish It Up Friday and at Quilt Matters for TGIFF.

Have a wonderful weekend!

  5. Cute! I love that you say to trust you on the quilting. That's so funny! So often you can't really tell on the screen how fabulous the quilting is anyway so most of those pictures are a waste. This is just you saving time.
