March Goals and a Winner

Before I talk about what my goal for a Lovely Year of Finishes and my To Do List for March,

A Lovely Year of Finishes

I have a winner to announce.  The winner of the book Sweetwater's Simple is...

Chelsie C!

Chelsie - I've emailed you to get your mailing address.

Now onto my March To Do List.  The top 5 items on my list this month are:

1.  Quilt The Big EZ.  This will be my ONE goal for a Lovely Year of Finishes.  I pieced the top back in November 2011 and it has been sitting in my pile of tops to be quilted since then.  We are painting my step-daughter's room in purple so I thought this quilt would be perfect for her room.

2.  Use one of my Jelly Rolls to make a granny squares quilt.  I will most likely use this pattern.

3.  Make rows 5 to 8 of Lori's Row Along.

4.  Make tote bag for myself with this pattern.

5.  Make a mini quilt for my daughter's room.

And that should keep me busy for a month!

And what are your plans for March?

  3. Wow - that's a good list! I doubt my current quilt will be finished in a month, I'm just plodding along with it! But any progress is good right!?! :o)
