My July Schnibble - Decoy

In July, the wonderful Sinta and Sherri who organize the Another Year of Schnibbles quilt along let us decide which pattern we wanted to use.

I chose to make Decoy from Carrie's book Another Bite of Schnibbles:

Another Bite Of Schnibbles: 24 Quilts From 5" Or 10" Squares

I had Vintage Modern by Bonnie & Camille so I went with that.

At first, I wasn't sure I had enough contrast between my "lights" and my "medium/darks".  But now that it's all done, I kinda like it!  :-)

Now I can't wait to see the parade on the 1st and... find out what's lined up for August!

Hope you all had a wonderful day!

Yeah, it looks great Izzy! I love that fabric. I can hardly wait for the parade too - there will be such a variety, I am sure. The last border is going on mine tonight. I still have hope that I will get it quilted before the end of the month.

WOw! I love the vintage modern in this pattern. I have a few charm packs waiting for the perfect schnibble. Great job!

It looks wonderful Izzy :-) The contrast looks great to me! My favorite star is the top middle one. It looks like it sparkles!
