I know I've been away from the blog for a little while. I don't really have an excuse for not posting other than life got in the way.
I did get some sewing done though. And some of that sewing was finishing my Swoon top! Yay!
I cannot believe I finally made a Swoon quilt top. That quilt had been on my To Do list for so long.
Now I just need to figure out how to quilt it. I want to do some free-motion designs, but it's so big. The last time I quilted something that big on my machine, I found it exhausting!
I will be linking up at these fabulous places this week: Crazy Mom Quilts, My Quilt Infatuation, and at Missy Mac Creations (hosting TGIFF this week).
Have a fabulous weekend everyone!
On and don't forget the Craftsy sale that ends this weekend! Craftsy Sale: Up to 75% Off All Courses, Fabric and Yarn!

swooning! pretty colors. yay for being done! good luck with the quilting - I have no ideas there, either. i'm stumped at selecting fabrics for this one. =)
ReplyDeleteIt is gorgeous!!! I think time spent quilting is better than time spent blogging. I think I would quilt it by check... but then I don't machine quilt really big quilts.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt top is beautiful. Enjoy the quilting. Thanks for sharing. Marie (mlismore@optusnet.com.au)
ReplyDeleteGreat job finishing up Swoon! I have 1 block left and hope to finish it tonight.
ReplyDeleteI love this! It was so fun to watch it take shape and the finish is great! I like your skinny borders between each block too. Good luck with the quilting!
ReplyDeleteThis turned out great!!! I love it!! Can't wait to see how you quilt it. It is a big one. I'm still deciding on backing fabric for mine.
ReplyDeleteNice!! You a lll make me want to do one too because they really all are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove! Swoon is such a neat pattern - I've held off on quilting mine, too, just not sure what it needs!
ReplyDeleteSwoontastic. Great job.
ReplyDeleteYippie for the beautiful finish! I'm renting time on a handi quilter for my swoon!! Hope the quilting goes well!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. I love it so much.

I'd love to make one some day, it looks scary. You did a nice job.
ReplyDeleteYour swoon is so pretty! I know it's big, but you can do it on a regular machine. I've done one as big as 80 x 100 on mine. A slider and gloves really help. Just baste really well and just take your time to reposition the quilt often.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you shared at Needle and Thread Thursday! Can't wait to see what you decide to do!
