There hasn't been much blogging around here lately, but that's because I've been busy sewing! So I have a packed WIP Wednesday post for you this week.
The first thing I want to share is the April Schnibble. I pieced the whole top in just a few hours and loved making it. So much fun.
I used my last 2 Cape Ann charms packs for this Schnibble and I really like how it turned out. The green dot fabric came from my stash. I plan on quilting this little top this weekend at the cottage. With any luck, I'll have a completely finished quilt for the parade on May 1.
I also finished piecing all of my granny squares recently and even started putting them into rows. Here is a picture of all the squares laid out on my sewing room floor. I love the colours in this fabric collection (Little Apples by Aneela Hoey) and think this jelly roll was perfect for the job.
I decided on a 5 x 8 layout with sashing of course which you can see in this next picture. I've got 3 rows done out of 8 so maybe this quilt top will be all done by the end of April, as planned.
The last project I worked on this week was Pandora's Box. I quilted the whole top over the weekend and prepared the binding Sunday night. On tonight's agenda: sewing the binding on the quilt.
Overall, a pretty good week! :-)

Thank you for visiting.
