WIP Wednesday

I've got what seems like a million things on the go right now. This week, I've been trying to get lots of things finished because next week is not going to be a good sewing week (a 3 day strategic meeting at work). And next week is the last week of February... Can you believe it?

The first thing I need to finish is putting the binding on Daisy Chains. It's quilted, the binding is prepared and all that's left is to sew it on the quilt. That is tonight's project, immediately after I am done with this blog post.

Second is the quilting on Starburst. I made good progress over the weekend and I think I'm on track to get this finished in time for the parade over at Happy Quilting on March 4.

Third is Lori's Row Along. I was hoping to get rows 1 to 4 done this month. I managed 3 of them, but I haven't been able to find the time for row 4 yet... Maybe I'll be able to squeeze that one in next week?

Fourth is my Scrappy Trip quilt. I finished all 20 blocks and plan on putting the top together Sunday night when I get back from the cottage. I can't wait to finish that one!

And the last thing that's been keeping me busy this week is moving my sewing room out of the spare bedroom and into the laundry room. My sweetie's 18 year-old daughter decided she was moving back in with us a couple of weeks ago (she'd been living at her mother's) so she's moving into the spare bedroom.

Here are a couple of pictures of my new sewing room...

Overall, I'm pretty pleased with the progress I am making towards achieving my February goals. How about you? Are you knocking things off your to do list this week?

Linking up at Lee's for WIP Wednesday.

  2. I love the colors in you scrappy trip! Your sewing area looks really nice and organized too. I need to move my sewing area (been putting it off) so maybe mine will get organized when I finally do it. :D
