A few weeks ago, I mentioned here that while cleaning up my sewing room, I realised I own way too many quilt books. Instead of letting them all sit there gathering dust, I decided to let someone else enjoy them.
Today, I would like to offer you this book:
The book contains a bunch of really fun crafts, including quilts, for the home. I purchased the book a long time ago and still haven't done anything in it yet... So I figured I probably never will.
To win the book, simply leave a comment telling me one thing you have learned this week (can be on any topic). The giveaway will be opened until Sunday, March 3 at Noon (Eastern Time). Anyone can participate - I will ship internationally - and you don't have to be a follower (although I would love for you to become one if you aren't!)
Good luck!
Izzy

Oh, this is an exciting giveaway! I've had my eye on this book for awhile :-) One thing I've learned this week.......hmmm.........it would have to be that I need to focus on one thing at a time. I've been getting little bits done here and there, but not stopping and starting things all the time would help me get more done. I hadn't noticed how often I was going from one thing to another, instead of focusing on one task to completion.
ReplyDeleteI learned that I am not as calm a person when I don't have time to sew! i think I need to take a couple of days just to do prep work for quilt piecing and wool applique so that when I have a few free minutes, I can just go into my sewing room and work!

ReplyDeleteI've learned that Yr9 kids really do enjoy learning poetry if you do some fun activities with it when reading aloud. I'm a middle school English teacher and we had the most laughter ever in a lesson yesterday!
