I've been away at the cottage for almost a week now and we don't have the Internet over in the country so I haven't been able to blog or read blogs, but I was able to sew! :-)
We're back in the city for today - had to do some laundry (no dryer in the country and it's been raining for 3 days now!) - so I thought I could post about my progress and catch up on some blog reading.
So far, I've been able to stick to the plan of not starting a new project in April. During the last few days, I spent a bit of time cleaning up the sewing room and choosing backings and binding for two of the 2012 Schnibbles: Bibelot (March) and Full House (January). That's right - I managed to quilt both of these!
When I get back to the country tomorrow, the plan is to quilt i.s.t.h. I already have the backing fabric picked out and I'm thinking I might have a plan in place for the quilting. I also want to get the Girly Square in a Square top quilted and start piecing the April Schnibble - Summer Day.
Here are my stats for this week:
Quilting:
Projects completed: 2
New projects: 0
Projects in progress: 8
Knitting/Crochet:
Projects completed: 0
New project: 1 (Another granny square pillow cover)
Projects in progress: 4 (I did make another 7 granny squares for my cotton blanket)

I love your little houses quilt
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are really enjoying yourself and there is something to be said about no internet.....look at what you have finished!
ReplyDeleteGreat finishes!! I love the cream background and those puffy Ts! You're on a roll :)
ReplyDeleteI also love the little house quilt. Look only 8 more quilt projects left. Nice finishes!
ReplyDeleteI love to see house quilts! the variety of quilted houses is quite amazing considering the basic shape of a house is generally the same! The T quilt is quite lovely too. I have no "T" person to make one for, I might have to make some T blocks anyway!
ReplyDeleteGreat projects Izzy! Lots of quilting :-)
ReplyDeleteBoth of your quilts are wonderful! But, I think i might just be a wee bit partial to the "T" one...since my last name starts with a "T". =)
